A new festival is promoting printed art in Montreal:
The Montreal Printed Art Festival (MTLPAF)
MTLPAF is organized jointly by several Montreal-based organizations with the goal of promoting all forms of printed art. The festival will feature exhibits of printed artworks by emerging artists, printmaking workshops, conferences, a huge print art fair and much more. The richness and diversity of the local printed art scene will be on full display!
Every year, Atelier Circulaire features recent work by its members at the exhibition The Members’ Salon. Exhibiting more than forty artists, it showcases the creative influences, diverse approaches and innovative techniques that Atelier Circulaire and its members have brought to the printmaking world in Quebec. This exhibition presents a wide variety of printing techniques: etching, lithography, monotype, screen-printing and digital printing.
Atelier Circulaire will take part in the Grande art fair, a gathering of more than 50 artists and organizations selling printed art, meeting the public and showcasing the incredible vitality of this artistic community in Montreal, as part of the Montreal Printed Art Festival...
During the Montreal Printed Art Festival, Atelier Circulaire is proud to present the exhibition “La Creme de la releve” bringing together national and international emerging artists whose practice shows an outstanding quality and an innovative approach to printmaking. Join us Saturday, April 30 starting at 5:30 pm at Atelier Circulaire Gallery to meet the artists and attend the opening reception. This exhibition will continue until May 28, 2016.
Atelier Circulaire is pleased to present the exhibition Fluid Fields: Landscapes in the Approaching Present by Sean Caulfield. Join us on Thursday, March 3rd, at 5:30 pm at the Atelier Circulaire Gallery for an artist talk and the opening of this exhibition, which will continue until April 9th, 2016.
On the eve of the 100th birthday of Albert Dumouchel, this exhibition of works by 67 artists shows that printmaking is a versatile, dynamic and current art form.
