Atelier Circulaire is pleased to present the exhibition "Emerging Printmaking Artists", organized with the support of Forum jeunesse de l’ile de Montreal. Join us Thursday, January 14 at 5:30 pm in Atelier Circulaire’s Gallery for the opening of this group exhibition, which will continue until February 20th.
This exhibition represents a variety of approaches and techniques, showing a fascinating panorama of contemporary printmaking practices. It features the work of 10 emerging printmaking artists from Montreal, all chosen by a distinguished jury for the quality of their work during their one-year artist residency project at Atelier Circulaire.
The "Emerging Printmaking Artists" program was set up with the support of Forum jeunesse de l’ile de Montreal and aims to support and enable the development of emerging artists, giving them the opportunity to get training, experiment, create and show their work.

Le Forum jeunesse de l’ile de Montreal (FJIM) is a consultative body of Concertation Montréal representing over 300 youth groups in the region. The organization focuses on defending the interests and rights of youth between the ages of 12 and 30. They are a non-partisan group.
Founded in 1982, Atelier Circulaire is an artist-run centre dedicated to the creation, research, production and promotion of printmaking. Atelier Circulaire supports the work of contemporary print-based artists by encouraging the use of traditional techniques and new technologies.
