The future of printmaking depends on its next generation; therefore, our mandate at Atelier Circulaire is to encourage a sustainable inclusion of young Montreal artists here in our studios. With our program “Emerging Artists of Printmaking”, we are opening our doors to young Montreal artists for the entirety of this year and the next.

Thanks to financial support by Forum Jeunesse de l’Île de Montréal, this program was created to help artists aged 35 or less to become part of the professional practice of printmaking. The bursaries available will allow young artists to expand their artistic approach while working in a professional studio. Selected artists will have the opportunity to attend courses and workshops, to participate in an artist residency among the daily practice of professional artists, printers and master printers, and to present their work in a group exhibition.
