SOLO EXHIBITION PROJECT FOR MEMBERS

At the Atelier Circulaire Gallery

As part of its annual programming, the Atelier Circulaire Gallery invites its members to submit an application for a solo exhibition project. The exhibition project must of course include the printed arts on a technical and/or conceptual level (traditional, new and mixed print technologies).

Submission Deadline: October 31

Interested candidates must submit an application that includes:

  • A short artist statement
  • A physical description of the proposed exhibition, including the number of works, the space required and any unusual installation requirements (max. 1 page)
  • 10 to 15 images (Mac compatible filesm JPEG format, in RGB, around 1024 x 768 pixels)
  • A complete artwork list indicating title, year, medium and dimensions (paper and image)
  • An artist CV
  • If needed, a time-based documentation can be sent as a VimeoYoutube or Soundcloud link.

with the subject "Member Solo Exhibition Application". If your application is larger than 10 MB, we recommand you to use the online file transfer service We Transfer.

You will receive an email confirming the reception of your proposal.  If you do not receive confirmation after a week, please contact info@atelier-circulaire.qc.ca to confirm that your application has been well received.

The selection will be made by a jury composed of renowned professionals of the arts and printmaking fields. The result to the contest will be communicated in February 2016. 

The fees paid to the artist by Atelier Circulaire Gallery are made in accordance with the CARFAC standards (Category 1, Project exhibition type).

The Atelier Circulaire gallery has a system of movable walls that allows artists to configure a layout that will suit their needs.  Please see the maximal and minimal plans below.  The installation of works on the movable walls must be done using the gallery’s hanging system (hanging wire system).
