Call for Submissions:
La crème de la relève des arts imprimés
Deadline: April 30, 2015
Emerging artists who work in print represent not only the future but also a dynamic and creative present that deserves to be highlighted. Artist-run centres l’Atelier Circulaire, Zocalo, et Arprim have joined forces to organize a group exhibition that will highlight the important contribution of emerging artists in the development of current printmaking practices. La Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec and la Maison de la culture de Villeray-St-Michel-Parc Extension will also participate in this initiative.
The exhibition La crème de la relève des arts imprimés, to be held in April 2016, will broadcast the work of national and international artists whose artistic practice shows a remarkable quality and an innovative approach to printmaking. The works will be presented simultaneously in several exhibition spaces in the Montreal area. A jury composed of one representative from each centre and professionals from the visual arts industry will select the artists.
